Economic Principals got stuck in a bomb cyclone last week – not just the weather event described with admirable clarity by Ellen Barry of The New York Times, but a travel schedule that left barely half  day in the office to write the weekly.

Rather than stint an interesting story, EP will return next week with a more thoughtful column than otherwise would have been the case on last week’s Nobel Prize in recognition of “the experimental approach to alleviating global poverty.”
